eMove 360° is the world’s most important B2B trade fair and conference for electromobility and autonomous driving. The clear focus of the 3-day event with an international orientation: Charging & Energy, battery technology, automated driving and e-mobility in the commercial vehicle sector. To kick things off on October 17, representatives and cooperation partners of the Clean Energy Partnership (CEP) will talk about the great potential of hydrogen technology in the transport sector and its concrete application.
Thomas Hofmann, BMW and CEP-H2 expert: “The BMW iX5 Hydrogen – e-mobility with short refueling times”
CEP partner BMW is convinced that hydrogen vehicles are a suitable zero-emission application in the growing portfolio of electric vehicles. They combine the advantages of electric driving such as high acceleration and low-noise driving with zero local emissions, long ranges and fast refueling in just 3-4 minutes. The pilot fleet of the BMW iX5 Hydrogen is currently being tested worldwide and demonstrates the enormous potential of hydrogen technology, which has long since arrived on the market. BMW is involved in the CEP in order to define norms and standards together with other players and to accelerate the further market ramp-up.

Sebastian Kobbelt, HyMobility Project Manager “HyMobility – ensuring the rapid ramp-up of fuel cell mobility with new framework conditions”
The climate targets in the transport sector can only be achieved with a massive ramp-up of climate-neutral heavy-duty mobility, as trucks contribute disproportionately to emissions. Fuel cell mobility offers the best solutions for this. The DWV HyMobility expert commission is committed to a corresponding regulatory framework and a reliable investment environment and thus complements the technical work of the CEP, which is driving forward the development of internationally valid norms and standards. The common goal of both consortia is to establish a market design for the economic use of hydrogen in mobility generated from renewable energies.

Cooperation partners CEP and DWV – bundled H2 expertise
DWV and CEP have enjoyed a trusting partnership for many years. The content of the cooperation is the bundling of expertise in the areas of H2 mobility (CEP) and H2 economy (DWV). The partners complement each other and act as an advisory body to policymakers in the sense of a holistic H2 economy with concentrated expertise.
The CEP and DWV know that hydrogen mobility is the only way to decarbonize the transport sector while maintaining grid stability.
The complete program is available at www.emove360.com.
The CEP is working on establishing green mobility with hydrogen and fuel cells on the market – secure in supply and environmentally friendly. 25 technology, mineral oil and energy companies, gas producers and automotive manufacturers and suppliers are working together to create standards across all modes of transport. With its expertise, the CEP is committed to a goal-oriented dialog between industry, politics and the market and acts as an advisory body in the context of shaping the regulatory framework.
