SAVE THE DATE: Elena Hof at the hydrogen engine conference

Elena Hof speaks at the 6th Hydrogen Engine Conference in Karlsruhe: In her presentation “From individual funding to systemic funding” on September 18, Elena Hof will shed light on how sustainable hydrogen funding can be designed.

The Federal Ministry of Finance’s current draft budget increases the chances of promoting alternative drive systems – especially hydrogen – more strongly. This is crucial in order to make technologies competitive and achieve climate targets.
The Clean Energy Partnership e.V. (CEP) has presented clear recommendations in this regard:

✅ Two-pillar approach: infrastructure and vehicles must be promoted together, flanked by a stable GHG quota.
Location-loyal fleets: filling station tenders should be linked to vehicle tenders (e.g. SWIM in the Netherlands).
✅ Predictability through early funding announcements: An “H2 calls calendar” with a lead time of 1-2 years is essential.

Current contributions

Berlin, 18 May 2026 | The Clean Energy Partnership (CEP) has taken another important step towards scaling up hydrogen mobility in Europe: TÜV Thüringen Schweiz has become the latest independent testing body to be authorised to carry out inspections of hydrogen refuelling stations in accordance with EN 17127 and ISO 19880-1.
Berlin, 10 February 2026 | The Clean Energy Partnership (CEP), an expert committee for hydrogen mobility, welcomes two new members: Poppe + Potthoff and Tyczka Hydrogen. As an independent, technology-neutral organisation, the CEP brings together players from all areas of hydrogen mobility in road, rail and factory transport. After a six-month trial period, both companies are now contributing their specific expertise to the CEP's working groups as full members.
