The Clean Energy Partnership (CEP) provides a new template for Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) for hydrogen refuelling stations with cryogenic liquid hydrogen (sLH2) for advance information. Similar to the acceptance tests for hydrogen refuelling stations with gaseous hydrogen, the CEP recommends the reliable testing of sLH2 refuelling stations and refers in this context to the requirements of the Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Regulation (AFIR) .
The template for the acceptance report provided here serves as a sample and for orientation until the sLH2 technology is more widely used or until it has been standardized by regular standards.
The tests are used to validate the safety of the filling station and to check the contractually agreed services, thereby ensuring compliance with legal requirements. The template currently only considers LH2 according to ISO 13984.
Note: If necessary, this template will be revised at a later date in consultation with other manufacturers in order to meet the evolving standards and technologies in the field of sLH2 filling stations.
