The European Commission’s Directorate-General for Mobility and Transport (DG MOVE) is responsible for the development and implementation of EU transport policy. Its aim is to establish a sustainable, efficient and integrated transportation system in Europe. In the context of hydrogen mobility, DG MOVE is currently working on the evaluation of the AFIR.

To support this evaluation, the “Sustainable Transport Forum” (STF) was set up, in which various stakeholders participate following a selection process. The CEP has its own seat in this forum, and CEP members are also invited to participate.

Through the CEP’s involvement in the STF working groups, the existing expertise can flow directly into AFIR’s evaluation processes. The CEP will not only reflect the results, but also actively develop content and share it with relevant stakeholders.
