Test guidelines for the approval of hydrogen storage and refueling facilities

The CEP inspection guide for the approval of hydrogen refuelling stations is primarily aimed at authorities responsible for the inspection and approval of such facilities. As a simple checklist, it provides a clear and structured overview of all the necessary documents and evidence required in the approval process.

Developed in cooperation with planners, operators and authorities from various federal states, the inspection guide takes into account the current legal requirements and standards, such as the BetrSichV and the BImSchG.

The aim is to simplify approval procedures, speed up processes and provide all parties involved with sound guidance. The inspection guide not only supports compliance with safety and environmental standards, but also the efficient implementation of hydrogen projects – a decisive contribution to the funding of H2 infrastructure.
